What our clients had to say about working with us

"Even though I have a pretty good eye for design and other spacial matters, I have absolutely no talent for organizing. Kate Marengo helped me so much, I don't even know where to begin. Spending time with her to organize my office was not only great fun, but has pointed me in the right direction to get my business running even smoother. You know those piles of papers and junk you've ignored for months, even years? Kate will help you confront them. And trust me, like any makeover TV show, the results are very much worth the pain. Kate has a terrific eye for detail and will show you ways to streamline your space you didn't even know were possible. I can't recommend her services highly enough." - Emily Lonigro, President of Lime Red Studio

"Organizing and being organized are definitely two different things.  I have always done a pretty good job of organizing 'stuff' behind closed doors and into overstuffed drawers, but when you would open the door or drawer, it was clearning another thing, more like organized chaos.  But then along came Kate Marengo and her creative mind and magic wand.  And then, in a very short time..... Voila!!!! I can now open doors and drawers without risking an eruption or avalanche, not to mention that I now can locate and recover things (without LoJack) that I had assumed were gone forever.  Design, decor and detail, she made it happen.  Thanks, Kate, and welcome back 'missing stuff'!!" - Name withheld

I have to fit all that furniture in here?! Space planning help.

Often it is hard to create a "mental picture" of a room you are re-decorating (or decorating after a move for that matter).  I used to draw pictures with no sense of scale to quickly rearrange furniture before physically moving it.  That was until I came across Icovia's Space Planner site.

I can't remember where I read about the site - but I filed the website away to look at when I had a moment of time.  Boy, I sure was glad I did.  With pre scaled furniture and appliances, and a quick tape measure moment around the room, you can easily lay out the spacing of  your room - any type of room for that matter!

I wanted to draw up an example of a hall bathroom.  Hall bathrooms are challenging if you need to create more function than form.  I live in a space that is long and narrow, a typical Chicago home really. I also day dream about possible renovations I could do to my bathroom on a regular basis.  When that beloved day arrives and I am able to begin the bathroom project - I'm armed with my space plan from Icovia.  You should check it out.

Telling the truth, in personally opinion, Project Runway Season 9 DVD is the most attractive fashion show, even better than the secret of Victoria as it focuses on common people’s fashion sense and trend instead of only provide the stage for those top models. Project Runway season 9 dvd release date focuses on fashion design and is hosted by model Heidi Klum. The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted in time, materials and theme. Their designs are judged, and one or more designers are eliminated each week. Project Runway premiered its first season on December 1, 2004.
