What our clients had to say about working with us

"Even though I have a pretty good eye for design and other spacial matters, I have absolutely no talent for organizing. Kate Marengo helped me so much, I don't even know where to begin. Spending time with her to organize my office was not only great fun, but has pointed me in the right direction to get my business running even smoother. You know those piles of papers and junk you've ignored for months, even years? Kate will help you confront them. And trust me, like any makeover TV show, the results are very much worth the pain. Kate has a terrific eye for detail and will show you ways to streamline your space you didn't even know were possible. I can't recommend her services highly enough." - Emily Lonigro, President of Lime Red Studio

"Organizing and being organized are definitely two different things.  I have always done a pretty good job of organizing 'stuff' behind closed doors and into overstuffed drawers, but when you would open the door or drawer, it was clearning another thing, more like organized chaos.  But then along came Kate Marengo and her creative mind and magic wand.  And then, in a very short time..... Voila!!!! I can now open doors and drawers without risking an eruption or avalanche, not to mention that I now can locate and recover things (without LoJack) that I had assumed were gone forever.  Design, decor and detail, she made it happen.  Thanks, Kate, and welcome back 'missing stuff'!!" - Name withheld

Room to Room organizing and cleaning. Maybe it might work for you!

My husband and I are busy people, in a busy city.  We use our home during the week mostly as a place to sleep, change our clothes, and dump our stuff.  Oh yeah, we run home quickly to take the dog out too.  By the end of each work week, our home begins to resemble a tornado disaster zone, belongings no where near where they should be, and a dining table near the front door that is the nearest flat surface for us to dump everything.  On Friday nights we have "cleaning parties," (our moniker in attempts to make cleaning fun) where we blast music and tackle our home as quickly as we can.  Sometimes followed up by guests just as we wiping our brow...

I thought I would share this little technique I've developed over time during these little "parties," that make me feel as if I am getting just a bit more squeezed into this fast paced not very fun task.  I call it the "room to room."

We usually each start at opposite ends of our home.  Whatever room I'm in, I grab an item that doesn't belong there, and walk to the room where it belongs and set it down.  In the new room, I repeat this process.  Now that I've perfected this technique, I'm often able to load up my arms as full as I can before leaving one room and heading to another.  I make a few stops along the way to dump items into their respective rooms.  Once all our belongings are in the rooms in which they belong, I just begin to tackle one room at a time.  This technique may not shave much off the overall task, but it does make me feel as if I am accomplishing more than I may actually be, and isn't the mind game half the battle these days?

I like the room to room idea, will try it this weekend but hopefully not stop when everything is in it's room but rather tidy the individual rooms also! Not sure I can ever convince my husband that cleaning is a party though, lol. Thanks for the tips Arranging Order.

We can still be productive and live comfortably without abusing our natural resources since most of them are not renewable. Paper products come from tress as electricity comes from hydro power - we should show even in our own little ways that we can make a difference and we can put a stop to the worsening condition of nature. Our productivity need not to be affected if we know how to maximize the use of our office or home supplies and avoid wastage. For paper supplies, print only enough number copies to save electricity as well as ink cartridges.

let's join our hands together to stop this kind of wrong doings. It may risk lives in the future if we just let them continue. mqebtm mqebtm - supra vaider.
